Why did you choose Mizzou?
I chose Mizzou because the facilities are amazing, the team was extremely close, and the coaching staff is top notch. The Total Person Program also helps us with our futures beyond our time at Mizzou.
How did you decide on your major?
The reason I chose social work is because my little brother is adopted. I want to help other families connect with mothers who feel incapable of caring for their child.
Favorite class and why?
My favorite class thus far would be my Theories of Personality class. I would consider this my favorite class because the concepts are interesting. The professor makes learning exciting and relates the course information to everyday life.
What game/match/event do you look forward to most and why?
I look forward to the alumni weekend. I can't wait to have a reunion and be able to talk to former Mizzou Soccer players.
What do you want to do when you graduate?
When I graduate I will be moving back to Canada to play semi-pro.
How did you get started in your sport?
I started playing soccer when I was 8 years old because my dad coached and played. My dad coached older boys at the time (16 year old). I started getting serious about soccer (age 11) when my dad began coaching me. He coached me right up until I left for Mizzou.
Best memory at Mizzou (athletic related)?
My best memory at Mizzou non-athletically was having a themed soccer get together. Since the theme was "Safari" we all dressed up in camo.
Volunteering/Community Service you have done?
I have primarily volunteered at the Nora Stewart Nursery and the Coyote Hill Christian Children's Home for Abused and Neglected children.
Hobbies outside of your sport?
Some hobbies outside of soccer include: dancing, movies, shopping and family activities.
Accomplishment(s) you are most proud of?
Accomplishments I am most proud of are my grades and having the opportunity to travel with Team Canada (full women's team) to China and Norway.
