Why did you choose Mizzou?
I felt very comfortable at Mizzou. I love the facilities, they are spectacular. Also my mom went here and so did two of my aunts and three of my uncles (so it’s in my blood!).
How did you decide on your major?
Being fit and staying healthy are my passions
Favorite class and why?
Sports Psych and any nutrition based class that I have had are my favorite classes that I have taken so far at Mizzou. Learning about the mental aspects in sports is very interesting and has taught me a lot about myself and my tennis game! Learning about nutrition is also very interesting to me.
What game/match/event do you look forward to most and why?
I look forward to every match I play! I look forward to any Big 12 match that we play in, especially K.U.!
What do you want to do when you graduate?
I want to work doing something physical, in a gym, or maybe be a tennis coach. I do know that I want to play tennis my whole life.
How did you get started in your sport?
I am a triplet with my brother and sister and when I was in kindergarten my parents told my brother, sister, and I to pick a sport different from each other to play so that we would not be competing against each other. I chose to play tennis (my brother chose ice hockey and my sister chose swimming).
Best memory at Mizzou (athletic related)?
So far, my favorite memories at Mizzou are with my team going on road trips and competing.
Best memory at Mizzou (non-athletic related)?
So far, my best non-athletic memory at Mizzou has been when my triplet brother came to Mizzou and visited me on our birthday.
Hobbies outside of your sport?
I like to hang out with family and friends, to draw and listen to music.
Accomplishment(s) you are most proud of?
Winning state my senior year at Kirkwood High School, and receiving the “Judy Dippold Female Tennis Player of the Year” award for St. Louis for 2010.
